I’m so happy to join this new event in collaboration with the NEO Academy in Washington, D.C. as conducting faculty for this festival! We’ve been working hard to put it together for its first year, and you’re in for a treat! We’re joined by Grammy-award winning composer Michael Patterson, Violinist Leo Sushansky, and Director of NEO Academy, Anh Nguyen.

The Summer Intensive 2022 by Neo Academy is a three-day event run by professional performers, conductors, composers, and educators from NEO Academy and DC metro area. The event aims to provide the participants with hands-on experience in orchestral, chamber music performance, and composition. We will focus on technical and academic knowledge, mentorship, and friendship for the long-term development of your musical career. The event also aims to serve the DC concert-goer's community with quality performances from faculty and participants.
